A report to the Eastern Police District said that Anselmo was on his way to work on his motorcycle around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday when he braked to avoid a bicycle rider who suddenly stopped in front of him.

FEATURED STORIES

As Anselmo lost his balance and fell off his motorcycle, the Toyota Vios behind him on C. Raymundo Avenue struck him. Instead of stopping, however, the driver fled.

The police said it was dark in the area where the accident happened so no one was able to get the vehicle’s license plate.
