Bicycle rider killed, two others hurt in Isabela collision

ECHAGUE, Isabela – A 50-year-old bicycle rider died while two other people were hurt Sunday afternoon in Ipil village, police said.

Rolly Savella, a widower of Buneg village, sustained fatal head injuries after he was struck by the motorcycle driven by Hector Sargado, 48, of San Isidro town.

Sargado and his backrider, Jason Jimenez, were hurt when the impact threw them off the motorcycle. They are being treated for head and arm injuries. /cbb
