Cop shot dead in Quezon City

A police officer was shot dead by an unidentified gunman on board a motorcycle in Quezon City Tuesday.

In a report on Wednesday, police identified the victim as PO2 Nephtalie Buensoceso.

Police said the victim was shot along N. Domingo Street corner Broadway Street in Barangay Valencia in Cubao at around 5:58 p.m.

Police said the unidentified suspect wore a black helmet and a maroon jacket.

The case is still under investigation, police said. /muf
