“Au revoir my friends.”
This was BBC presenter Rachel Bland’s concluding message after she revealed that she only has days to live after a two-year battle with breast cancer.
Bland, a mother-of-one, shared in her Twitter account the sad news in a heartfelt message Monday night (Manila Time).
She said: “In the words of the legendary Frank S (Sinatra) – I’m afraid the time has come my friends. And suddenly. I’m told I’ve only got days. It’s very surreal.” She concluded: “Thank you so much for all the support I’ve received. Debs and lozz will continue with the #youmebigc podcast. Au revoir my friends.”
