Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson said she is open to run for the 2019 midterm elections, but is not yet sure whether to seek a seat at the Senate or the House of Representatives.
鈥淪enator, Congress, hindi ko po alam, pero open po tayo (I don鈥檛 know, but I am open for that),鈥� she said in an ambush interview on Wednesday when asked if she plans to enter politics, shortly after announcing her resignation from the PCOO during a Senate hearing.
She said her candidacy still depends on the pulse of the voting public.
鈥淜asunod po ng sinabi ni Pangulo na let the people decide (I will follow what the President said, that we should let the people decide),鈥� she said, noting that she will proceed with her possible bid based on the comments of her supporters in her Facebook page.

Uson said she is 鈥渇rustrated鈥� over how the 鈥渟ame faces鈥� have been dominating politics, and stressed that ordinary Filipinos should have a voice in the government.
听Asked if running for politics is one of her options in giving Filipinos that voice in government, she said: 鈥淪iguro po (perhaps).鈥�
鈥淢ahiya naman kayo. Matagal nang pare-parehong mukha ang nandiyan (You should be ashamed. You with same faces have long been there),鈥� she said.
Uson also lamented that senators have been blocking the budget of the PCOO because of her position in the agency. She said this was the reason why she resigned.
Uson, a fierce supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte, said that she will take the fight to the House of Representatives or the Senate, and added that she will now be fiercer in social media after her resignation.
She added that she doesn鈥檛 look at surveys on the possible senatoriables. / muf
