Poe tells telcos, gov’t agencies: Give timely warnings on ‘Rosita’

Senator Grace Poe on Monday urged telcos and concerned government agencies to be on their toes in giving timely warnings so that the public can anticipate and be protected from Typhoon “Rosita.”

“As our kababayan, especially those in the path of the storm, brace for this condition, we expect the telcos and the concerned government agencies to be on their toes in giving timely warnings so that the public can prepare and be safe,” Poe said in a statement on Monday.

According to the latest weather advisory, Typhoon Rosita is expected to make landfall over Isabela-Aurora on Tuesday.

Rosita was last spotted at 410 kilometers east of northeast of Casiguran Aurora. It is moving west southwest direction at 20 kilometers per hour (kph).
