MMDA: 3-vehicle crash on Edsa near MRT-3 Ortigas station

Three vehicles collided along Edsa on Friday afternoon, causing slight traffic slowdown near Ortigas, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.

Mary Grace Alparo, computer operator 1 at MMDA, said a Hyundai Starex van (TOX 895) crashed on a Toyota Vios (ABG 4991) and Nissan Sentra (TPD 227) near the Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) Ortigas station around 12:36 p.m.

According to Alparo, one lane of Edsa-northbound in Ortigas has been affected due to the incident.

Alparo said there were no reported casualties from the three-vehicle crash.

An MMDA personnel, who requested anonymity, said the incident area has been cleared by 2:18 p.m.

The crash is still under investigation, as of this posting. /kga
