Napoles transferred to Correctional Institution for Women

MANILA, Philippines — Plunder convict Janet Lim Napoles has been transferred to the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) in Mandaluyong City, according to Chief Insp. Xavier Solda, spokesperson of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) said.

Sokda confirmed the transfer to in a text message on Monday. He said Napoles was transferred to CIW on Friday.

The Sandiganbayan earlier denied the appeal of Napoles to be allowed stay in Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City.
