Jobs on Google Search to enhance job hunting process
MANILA, Philippines — Job hunting in the Philippines is expected to get a lift from Job Search on Google, an official of the tech giant said on Wednesday.
“Job Search will make it easier for Filipinos to find jobs online that meet the requirements as well as match their interests,” Stacie Chan, Google’s search product partnerships lead in Asia Pacific said in a Google for Philippines forum at The Blue Leaf Filipinas in Parañaque City.
Half a million job vacancies, including those from the Department of Labor and Employment, Kalibrr, Jobayan and Jobs Cloud can be accessed via Job Search.
When searching for a job, users receive information about preferred jobs such as job title / description, role and responsibility, location, employment type and even the commute time between their home to the workplace.
Job Search on Google also offers smart filters to fill in job seekers’ unique needs such as job type, location, posting date or company type. / gsg
