MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte’s Cabinet members met in Malacañang on Thursday to fine-tune its organization.

The Cabinet met at the Heroes Hall reportedly for a “retooling” session and “some guidelines” for the Cabinet.

Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, who was present during the meeting, said Cabinet officials talked “all bout the process” in governance and administrative matters.

“This has been scheduled long ago. [We talked about] retooling and guidelines for the Cabinet organization,“ he told

“We talked about the Cabinet process. How to get an agenda discussed in the Cabinet, how to make our respective departments compliant with standard input-throughput-output-outcome measurement, handling of national security documents, etc,” he added.

Though it’s still months before, Andanar said they also talked about the preparations for the President’s fourth State of the Nation Address (Sona).

“We spoke about the preparations for Sona,” he said. /jpv
