BAGUIO CITY 鈥 Flower floats made of recycled and recyclable materials were among the featured entries in the 24th edition of Panagbenga grand parade here on Sunday.

Creators of Camella Homes, M Lhuiller and Igorot Treasure floats came up with an environment-friendly float in support of the city鈥檚 campaign for a clean community.

The float of Camella Homes advocated against single-use materials as it was adorned with fresh Baguio blooms and vegetables that will be repurposed after the parade.

The Igorot Treasure float was also made with mostly flowers, vegetables, and recyclable materials that are easily disposable.

Creators of M Lhuiller鈥檚 float, which was called 鈥淭he Garden of opportunity,鈥 said their entry was aimed at 鈥減reserving the ecosystem and protecting the environment.鈥

It featured a unicorn made of fresh cut flowers and carried its celebrity brand endorsers Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco.

A total of 29 floats participated in this edition of the grand float parade.
