BREAK: Grace Poe remains top choice for Senate race – Pulse Asia

PULSE Nationwide Survey on the May 2019 Senatorial Elections TABLE 1-1

MANILA, Philippines – Reelectionist Senator Grace Poe remains as the top senatorial candidate in the May 2019 national elections, the latest Pulse Asia survey released on Thursday showed.

The survey, conducted from March 23 to 27, showed Poe getting a 72.6 percent voter preference.

Senator Cynthia Villar who is also seeking reelection, ranked second with a 63.7 percent voter preference.

FEATURED STORIES

Senator Sonny Angara meanwhile took third to fourth spot while former assistant to the president Christopher “Bong” Go landed on the third to fifth spot.

Taguig Rep. Pia Cayetano made it to the fourth to sixth spot while Lito Lapid was on the fifth to eight spot.

Reelectionist Senator Nancy Binay and Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa both landed on the sixth to ninth spot while former senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla got the seventh to tenth spot.

Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos made it to the 9-12 spot while former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman Francis Tolentino and former senator Jinggoy Estrada landed on the 10-16 spot.

Senators Bam Aquino and Aquilino Pimentel III was at the 11-16 spot together with Serge Osmeña.

Former senator and interior secretary Mar Roxas landed on the 11-17 spot.

The survey was conducted among 1, 800 respondents, has an error margin of ± 2.3 percent.  /muf
