LOOK: Hundreds of jobseekers attend Independence Day job fair in Malate

MANILA, Philippines — Hundreds of job seekers flocked to the San Andres Sports Complex in Malate, Manila on Wednesday for the Independence Day Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) Job and Business Fair where 19,798 vacancies are up for grabs.

According to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), 6,441 local jobs are available including those in the hotel and restaurant, construction, wholesale and retail trade, health, beauty and wellness, transportation and logistics, business process outsourcing, manufacturing, power and telecommunication industries.

Meanwhile, around 6,000 overseas jobs in Brunei, China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Qatar, Taiwan, and the United Arab Emirates are also being offered.

A total of 7,357 job vacancies in various government agencies are also available.
