MANILA, Philippines 鈥斅燩resident Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday ordered anew the immediate shutdown of Kapa-Community Ministry International Inc. (KAPA), a Surigao del Sur-based religious corporation.
鈥淭he operation will be stopped or shall stop immediately,鈥� Duterte said in his speech at the distribution of land titles to agrarian reform beneficiaries in General Santos City.
The President even joked that he would punch those who would sell their lands and invest in KAPA.
鈥淚prenda niyo at bukas ipapatawag ko kayo lahat. Palinyahin ko kayo dyan at pagsusuntukin ko kayo, mapa lalaki o babae man,鈥� he said.
Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo earlier urged those 鈥渄efrauded鈥� by KAPA to file charges against the religious organization.
