/ 04:31 PM July 28, 2019

Four employees of a fast food chain in Vermont, United States, have been fired from their jobs after having a food fight at the end of their shift last Friday, July 19.

As a consequence of the supposed food fight, an issue on sanitation emerged, after one of the employees washed her hair using the establishment’s kitchen sink and wrung the water out of her hair and on the floor. This was exposed through a video posted on Facebook by one Lisa Demar on the same day.

The incident did not go unnoticed by authorities for too long. After catching wind of the video, the Vermont Department of Health went to investigate the establishment on Monday, July 22, as per CBS-affiliate WCAX last Wednesday, July 24.

According to the manager of the KFC-Taco Bell branch, the employee caught washing her hair in the kitchen sink had taco sauce squirted on her hair during the supposed food fight. She was not able to remove the sauce while washing it at the bathroom sink, which is why she opted to use the sink in the kitchen.
