Wesmincom chief, 31 other AFP officers get CA nod

MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Appointments (CA) on Wednesday confirmed the ad interim appointments of 32 senior officials of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), including newly promoted Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, commander of the Western Mindanao Command (Wesmincom).

Among those also confirmed by the CA was Brig. Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr., head of the Army’s 103rd Brigade in Marawi.

Brawner assumed his post in December 2018 after his predecessor, Brig. Gen. Generoso Ponio, ended his tour of duty.
