CABANATUAN CITY鈥揊our alleged communist rebels on Monday, Sept. 23, surrendered to authorities in San Jose City, police said.
Col. Leon Victor Rosete, Nueva Ecija police chief, said the surrender was facilitated by the provincial police鈥檚 intelligence branch and the 2nd Provincial Mobile Field Force (PMFC).
The former rebels, who operated in Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya and Kalinga Apayao, also turned over their firearms.
