What dangers can there be with wearing a hat? There just might be some, apparently, if they are worn by pigeons.
A few pigeons were indeed spotted wearing red cowboy hats in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States recently. After the initial amusement over the birds鈥� new fashionable headpiece, a local animal rescue group questioned the hats鈥� impact on the pigeons鈥� welfare, Fox-affiliate KVVU-TV reported yesterday Dec. 9.
One Bobby Lee spotted the birds near Tropicana Avenue and Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas and took a video of it.

A pigeon welfare group, Lofty Hopes, expressed concern about the negative effects of the hats, as per report.
鈥淎t first, I was like, oh my god that鈥檚 cute!鈥� Mariah Hillman, the group鈥檚 head stated. 鈥淭hen, I was like, wait a minute 鈥� how did they get those hats on there?
鈥淒id they glue them? And what does that mean for them?鈥� Hillman questioned further. 鈥淚s it something that鈥檚 going to impede their flight or attract predators?鈥�
Lofty Hopes is currently tracking down the pigeons to safely remove the hats.
鈥淲e drove up and down here yesterday for a good two hours just handing out business cards to any location where I saw pigeons and people,鈥� Hillman said in the report.
The pet activist added, 鈥淚f you see these birds, just feed them until I get here. I鈥檓 only 3 miles away and I鈥檒l come trap them.鈥�
Meanwhile, one @kassandraqueenn saw another pigeon wearing a hat around the area today, Dec. 10.
