Did You Know: Cops did 16.19M patrols in 2018

According to the 2018 annual report of the Department of the Interior and Local Government, the Philippine National Police (PNP) conducted 16.19 million foot and mobile patrols last year to address multiple crime problems such as murder, homicide, robbery, theft and other street crimes.

The PNP also assigned 38,108 Tourist Police personnel to man the 1,978 police tourist assistance desks and 558 tourist assistance centers in 28 priority tourist destinations.
