COVID-19 quarantine violations lead to 6 arrests in Palawan, Marinduque
CITY OF CALAPAN—The enforcement of COVID-19 quarantine rules led to the arrest of four men violating the liquor ban in a town in Palawan province and two others out in the streets without quarantine passes in the province of Marinduque.
Mimaropa regional police said the four who violated the liquor ban were arrested past midnight by village officials while loitering and noisily partying in their village, a coastal area.
The four were also arrested for being outside their homes during the 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. curfew hours.
Edgardo Paguntalan, village councilor of Bacao, turned over the four men to police.
In the town of Gasan, Marinduque police arrested two men who were out in the streets but without quarantine passes.
