MANILA, Philippines — The barangay chair of Potrero, one of the most populous in Malabon City, has urged residents to stay home and cooperate with the local government after four new cases of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were reported in the area.

“We are here to inform you that continuous testing is being conducted for the family members and relatives of those who tested positive,” Sheryl Nolasco said. As of Wednesday,

Potrero had 60 probable COVID-19 cases. Nolasco also reminded residents that going out on the streets could increase their risk of infection.
