PNP now has 302 coronavirus cases

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday posted four more coronavirus disease cases, raising the total number of COVID-19 cases to 302.

The PNP Health Service also documented 149 recoveries after two more police personnel survived the respiratory illness.

COVID-19 deaths among policemen stood at four.

Also, 637 police personnel were considered as “suspect” patients while 717 police personnel were listed as “probable” patients.

The nation’s police force launched its own COVID-19 facility on Tuesday to conduct 150 tests daily.

The testing center at the DNA Building of PNP Crime Laboratory inside the PNP Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City is exclusively used for detecting and isolating infected patients at PNP.
