5 Pasay barangays placed under extreme lockdown

Five barangays in Pasay have been placed under extended extreme community quarantine (EXCQ) after the city health office reported a spike in new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases.

The affected areas that will be under EXCQ until the first week of June are Barangay 104 (under enhanced community quarantine or ECQ since May 17), Barangay 8 (under ECQ since May 19), Barangay 183 (under ECQ since April 11), and Barangays 136 and 195 (under ECQ since May 24).

City administrator Dennis Acorda said only those living in households without confirmed, suspected or probable cases could go out to buy essential items. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
