MANILA, Philippines — An official of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Saturday announced that she has been diagnosed with the new coronavirus disease.

In a Facebook post, Anna Mae Lamentillo, chairwoman of DPWH “Build, Build, Build” program, confirmed that she tested positive for COVID-19 after undertaking a swab test.

“I regret to announce that today, July 18, I received my test result (swabbed July 16) and it is positive for COVID-19,” the government official wrote.
