BAGUIO CITY—Mayor Benjamin Magalong on Saturday lifted the total lockdown in three villages here after local officials finished the contact tracing of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in those areas.

In his memorandum, Magalong said he lifted the lockdown order on Barangay Middle Quezon Hill, Purok 3 of Barangay North Sanitary Camp, and Villamor Drive of Barangay Lualhati following the recommendations from the contact tracing team (CRT).

The CTR cited the geospatial analysis of the risk of transmission in the affected villages as a basis.

Villamor Drive, which hosts the famous The Mansion, the President’s official summer residence, was recently barricaded by the police and the military after a female resident in a high-rise condominium there was tested positive for COVID-19.

The resident is being treated at the government hospital.
