Former Manila mayor and senator Alfredo Lim has been confined in a hospital, his aide confirmed on Friday.
Ric de Guzman, Lim鈥檚 chief of staff, said the former politician is making 鈥済ood progress,鈥� adding that Lim鈥檚 family had asked for prayers for the former mayor. They also asked for privacy at this time.
De Guzman did not say why Lim was hospitalized. But in a now-deleted post, former Manila Councilor Ni帽o dela Cruz said his grandfather was confined due to the new coronavirus disease.
