Next year鈥檚 licensure exams for lawyers will be held simultaneously in Manila and Cebu City to lessen costs for law graduates from the Visayas and Mindanao, the Supreme Court announced on Thursday.
It will be the first time the exams will be held outside the capital but a regional testing site 鈥渨ill lessen the logistical problems caused by travel restrictions and curfew regulations.鈥�
Associate Justice Marvic Leonen, who chairs the next Bar exams, has said the exams will 鈥渘ot be held at a date earlier than February 2021.鈥�
The exams have been held at the University of Santo Tomas since 2011. The Supreme Court said it would later announce the venue in Cebu City. 鈥�DONA Z. PAZZIBUGAN
