Caloocan to use wristbands to monitor infections
MANILA, Philippines — Like Hong Kong and South Korea, Caloocan City will tap the use of wristbands to remotely monitor individuals exposed to those positive for the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The Quarantine Band or Q Band will be distributed to some Caloocan residents undergoing quarantine starting on Monday.
The orange band, which comes with the Q Band Public App, is equipped with a unique QR code. Using the band, an individual could share his/her health status, location and infection risk.
