Almost  P150K worth of shabu seized in Camarines Sur stings; 3 nabbed

LEGAZPI CITY –– Three alleged notorious illegal drug sellers were arrested in separate drug stings in Camarines Sur province on Thursday, police said Friday.

The drug pushers yielded nearly P150,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth).

Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said the drug busts led to the confiscation of 15 sachets of shabu weighing over 30 grams.

In Sagñay town, Teody Blanquiza, 43, was collared in Barangay San Roque around 9 p.m. Recovered from the suspect, who was listed in the drug watch list, were four sachets of shabu worth P3,500.

In Canaman town, Alex Nolasco, 53, a high-value target drug pusher, was caught selling shabu in Barangay Fundado at 6:50 p.m. He yielded three sachets of shabu.

In Naga City, anti-narcotics operatives seized 30 grams of shabu from Francis Saboco, 38, in a drug operation in Barangay San Felipe at 1:50 p.m.

The suspects were under police custody and are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act 2002.
