SAN ANTONIO, Zambales 鈥撯�� A female employee of the municipal hall here has exhibited symptoms of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), forcing local officials to temporarily close one of its offices.
Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said the 40-year-old government worker assigned at the municipal council was found to be reactive after a rapid test for COVID-19.
鈥淪he has a fever and colds. She is now isolated in President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital while awaiting the result of her swab test,鈥� Bueno told the Inquirer.
The temporary closure of the council鈥檚 office was to allow disinfection in the area.
The province recorded a total of 537 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 499 recoveries and three deaths as of Friday.
