A former flight attendant from Santa Rosa, Laguna who was retrenched from her job due to the COVID-19 pandemic finds hope amid challenges as she diverted her life鈥檚 flight path into selling liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to make a living.
On the effectivity date of the second wave of where she works in, Maurice Maureen Avila, 26, spoke up through a Facebook on Oct. 16 about how difficult it was for her to accept losing her 鈥渄ream job,鈥 and how she manages to cope to continue earning for her family.
鈥淕abi-gabi, tinatanong ko ang Diyos, 鈥楤akit kailangan mong kunin [鈥榶ung] pangarap na pinaghirapan ko?鈥 ,鈥 Avila wrote. (Every night I ask God, 鈥榃hy did you have to take my dream away? I worked hard for this.)
