#NasaanAngPangulo trends on Twitter as Duterte skips super typhoon briefing

MANILA, Philippines — #NasaanAngPangulo (Where is the President) topped the Philippines’ trends on Twitter as Super Typhoon Rolly, the strongest typhoon so far this year, whipped the Bicol region and Southern Luzon.

President Rodrigo Duterte skipped the televised press briefing on the national government’s the response and preparation for the super typhoon.

#NasaanAngPangulo dominated the trends, followed by #Rolly PH, as of Sunday at 11 a.m.
