More establishments in Cabanatuan City require QR codes for easy contact tracing
CABANATUAN CITY –– Several establishments here, particularly malls, have joined the local government in the implementation of Quick Response (QR)codes as contact tracing measures to contain the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) starting Wednesday.
Aside from mall-goers, clients of the power retailer Cabanatuan Electric Corp. or Celcor will also be required to present QR codes when entering its offices.
In an announcement, the city government said QR codes can be generated from https://www.cabanatuancity.gov.ph:2020/#/ using mobile phones.
The city government had started the use of QR codes in all transactions at the city hall on Nov. 4.
