Four men developed mouth ulcers after eating 30 kilograms of oranges to avoid paying extra baggage fee at an airport in Kunming in Yunnan Province, China.

The four apparently ate the oranges within only 20 to 30 minutes as the 楼300 (around $46 or P2,200) fee was 鈥渕ore than they could afford,鈥 as per Global Times聽on Jan. 20.

They were on a business trip, and reportedly bought a 30-kilogram box of oranges worth 楼50 (around $8 or P370) before boarding a plane.

They learned that they were going to get charged, and not wanting to pay or let the oranges go to waste, they decided to eat the fruits instead.

One of the men, identified only by his surname Wang, noted that after their orange feast, they 鈥渘ever want to have any oranges again.鈥 Ian Biong聽/ra
