SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—The disease COVID-19 has claimed another life in Olongapo, that of an elderly patient, and raised the city’s death toll to 57.

In his daily report, Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said the latest fatality, a 68-year-old man, was the second senior citizen to die of COVID-19, which originated in China, in the last two days.

The patient suffered from respiratory ailments, diabetes and hypertension, which are considered to be cases of comorbidity that make COVID-19 deadlier.
