Cops nab ex-soldier for selling illegal drugs in Naga City
LEGAZPI CITY — A former member of the Philippine Army was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Naga City in Camarines Sur province early on Tuesday.
Police Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Arjay Cadag, 32, a resident of Baao town, was arrested in Barangay (village) Sabang at around 3:20 a.m.
Cadag sold a sachet of shabu (crystal meth) worth P10,000 to an undercover agent.

Bongon said Cadag was declared “absent without official leave” from the military since 2016. He was last assigned in Sorsogon.
He will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
