Australia’s oldest living man, 111-year-old Dexter Kruger, revealed some of his secrets to living a long life, which includes a unique food in his diet — he eats chicken brains.

“Chicken brains. You know, chickens have a head and in that is some brains, and they are delicious little things. There’s only one bite,” Kruger said as he described the delicacy in an interview with ABC Australia on Monday, May 17.

“I do things differently. I lived very close to nature and I ate mostly what I grew in the garden or the orchard or the farm,” he was quoted as saying.

Meanwhile, his son Greg Kruger said his father’s simple lifestyle and a diet with “plenty of salt, sugar and fat,” contributes to his long life.
