PNP to dismiss 'drunk' cop who killed 52-yr-old woman in QC

MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police chief Guillermo Eleazar on Thursday dismissed killer cop Master Sgt. Hensie Zinampan, who was caught in a viral video shooting dead a 52-year-old woman in Quezon City.

Zinampan’s dismissal from the service, barely a month after he was charged criminally and administratively, is notably among the fastest in the PNP’s history.

Eleazar said he signed the dismissal order for Zinampan, who was found guilty of killing Lilybeth Valdez in Barangay Greater Fairview, Quezon City, on May 31. —JEANNETTE I. ANDRADE
