In an interview with ABS-CBN ºÚÁÏÉç Channel, Gordon, who earlier expressed interest for the presidential post, was asked regarding his possible running mate in 2022 should his presidential bid push through.
Gordon initially said “it will be a surprise,” but later disclosed that he is in talks with Robredo. The senator, however, refused to divulge the contents of their discussion. `
“I don’t know if I’m allowed by the Vice President, we had a chat last week. But I don’t want to say anything about what we talked about,” he said.
Asked if they spoke about a possible “partnership” in the 2022 elections, Gordon said: “Yes, for transparency’s sake because lalabas at lalabas ‘yan. Pero hindi namin pinag-usapan kung sino ang kandidato.”
