12 percent of Zambales population fully vaccinated vs COVID-19

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––At least 1,190 more residents in this province have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 after getting the second dose of AstraZeneca and Sinovac, and the single-shot Janssen vaccines on Monday, Aug. 9.

Data from the provincial health office show that 923 residents received the Janssen vaccine made by Johnson & Johnson, 141 got the second dose of AstraZeneca, and 126 got their second dose of Sinovac.

Only 31 residents received their first dose of the AstraZeneca or Sinovac vaccine on the same day.

The latest figures brought to 49,141 the number of fully vaccinated residents. These represent 12 percent of the target population.

A total of 90,042 vaccine doses have been administered in this province.
