COVID-19 hospital in Olongapo still accepting patients from other places

OLONGAPO CITY––The main COVID-19 referral hospital in this city continues to receive patients from other areas as health facilities outside started running out of beds, officials said Friday, Aug. 20.

The James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH) is treating COVID-19 patients referred by hospitals in Metro Manila, the management said.

At least five severe and critical cases of COVID-19 have been admitted to JLGMH as of Friday.

But due to the spike in COVID-19 patients accommodated at JLGMH, its wards have started to be swamped, the management said.
