IATF OKs OneHealthPass for all arriving travelers starting Sept. 1

MANILA, Philippines — The Interagency Task Force (IATF) on the COVID-19 response has approved the use of the OneHealthPass for travelers arriving in the Philippines starting September 1, Malacañang said Friday.

“The use of the OneHealthPass shall start September 1, 2021 and for the duration of the state of national public health emergency,” presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said in a statement.

Roque said OneHealthPass is an online platform aiming to promote the “convenient and seamless movement of international travelers from departure from the country of origin to arrival at the local government unit of destination.”

Travelers can register to OneHealthPass via https://www.onehealthpass.com.ph/e-HDC/.

Upon completion of the registration, each passenger will be issued a quick response (QR) code which will be presented prior to boarding the aircraft and upon arrival in the Philippines.

The platform was developed by the Bureau of Quarantine and the Department of Transportation.

Meanwhile, Roque said the task force also approved the operation of the Philippine Racing Commission’s Off-Track Betting (OTB) stations in Metro Manila during modified enhanced community quarantine “subject to the approval of the concerned local government unit.”

“The operation of OTBs shall be strictly limited to selling of tickets and shall ensure the enforcement of health and safety protocols and observance of minimum public health standards within their premises,” he said.
