4 more die from COVID-19 complications in Olongapo City
OLONGAPO CITY––Four residents in this city succumbed to COVID-19, raising its death toll to 224, as of Tuesday, Sept. 14, local data showed.
The new fatalities were 41 to 95 years old, the local health task force said.
At least 48 new infections got recorded on the same day, including 5- to 15-year-old children.
The city had logged 4,588 infections since last year, but 3,577 of them had been cleared of the viral disease, including 31 new recoveries. It reflects a 77-percent recovery rate.
Healthcare workers were also monitoring 121 suspected cases of COVID-19.
