SANTIAGO CITY—The Ifugao State University’s Lamut campus was placed under lockdown until September 22 after three workers contracted COVID-19. In his advisory, Dr. Napoleon Taguiling, Ifugao State University-Lamut campus executive director, said they are waiting for the swab test results of the three workers’ primary contacts. Employees have been on a work-from-home arrangement but immediate supervisors were tasked “to ensure that services and transactions” are being initiated. Workers in colleges without positive patients and close contacts have been tasked to do selective onsite works “with caution and permission” for urgent after the disinfection of the campus. The disinfection was done on Friday. The general services office workers led the disinfection of the campus.
