10-year-old girl among new COVID-19 deaths in Tarlac City

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga—-A 10-year-old girl was among the nine people who succumbed to COVID-19 in Tarlac City, the Tarlac provincial government disclosed on Wednesday, Oct. 27.

In its latest bulletin, the provincial government said the eight other fatalities were between 27 and 95 years old.

Tarlac registered 62 new COVID-19 cases and 96 recoveries. Its active cases stood at 184.

Capas town has the most active cases in the province with 32, followed by Victoria with 31, and Camiling and Paniqui with 21 each.

Tarlac City had only 10 active cases on Wednesday.

Since the pandemic began last year, the province has registered 17,620 COVID-19 cases, of which 16,683 have recovered while 753 have died.
