NCR logs 570 new COVID-19 cases on Oct. 31 – OCTA
MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila recorded the most number of new COVID-19 cases in the country on Sunday, Oct. 31, according to OCTA Research.
The Philippines logged 3,410 additional cases on Sunday, the second lowest number of new cases reported in a day since June.
The National Capital Region (NCR) accounted for 570 of the new infections, OCTA Research fellow Guido David said on Monday.

NCR was followed by Isabela province, which recorded 178 new infections and Benguet with 169 additional cases.

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque earlier explained that the national pandemic task force decided to extend the alert level over NCR to avoid a sudden spike in COVID-19 cases.
