PH takes delivery of 1 million more Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine doses
MANILA, Philippines — Some one million more government-procured Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine doses arrived in the Philippines on Thursday night.
The National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 said the Air Hong Kong flight LD456 that carried the 1,082,250 Pfizer vaccine doses, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 around 8 p.m.
On Wednesday, the Philippines received 1,078,740 doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.
The NTF said more deliveries of Pfizer vaccine doses procured by the government, are scheduled next week.
As of November 30, a total of 142,692,770 COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in the country since February.
