BAGUIO CITY鈥撯揚residential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo visited this city and graced the flag-raising ceremony Monday, Dec. 6, at the city hall as supporters prepared to meet her for a series of activities.
鈥淭iwala (trust) is not something we are entitled to, it鈥檚 something we should earn,鈥 Robredo said during the occasion, referring to what she set out to achieve during her term in office if elected to the highest post.
The vice president said she was in this city to attend the wedding on Tuesday of lawyer Paolo Salvosa, a member of the clan that founded the University of the Cordillera.
She said she was reluctant to join the morning event 鈥渂ecause I am running for President, and I did not want to be intrusive.鈥
Robredo will visit the Good Shepherd Convent and lead the blessing of the 鈥淟eni-Kiko Headquarters鈥 in the city on the same day.
