Dutch government’s donation of 1.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses arrives in PH
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines received on Monday over 1.5 million doses of Janssen’s COVID-19 vaccines donated by the Dutch government.
The National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 said that the 1,526,400 doses arrived on Qatar Airways flight QR928 which landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 10 p.m.
This is the first batch of the Netherlands’ donation of the single-dose COVID-19 vaccine, the NTF COVID-19 said.
The succeeding batches are scheduled to arrive on December 14 and 15 to complete the donation of 7,538,400 doses.
Based on the NTF COVID-19’s data, some 41 million individuals are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of December 12.
