Over P1.4 million worth of marijuana, ‘shabu’ seized in Bulacan
CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Police seized more than P1.4 million worth of marijuana and “shabu” (crystal meth) from 25 suspects during a simultaneous anti-criminality operation in different towns in Bulacan province on Thursday, January 27.
Col. Rommel Ochave, Bulacan police director, said five kilos of dried marijuana fruiting tops worth P1,052,000 were allegedly recovered from the group of Lailani Alivio in Barangay Balayong, City of Malolos at 10:40 p.m.
More dried marijuana fruiting tops worth P200,000 were seized from Ajerico Carmona and Ericka Castro, alias “Eckang”, during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mojon, also in the City of Malolos.
In City of San Jose del Monte, suspect Abigael Casbadillo and her companions yielded P183,600 worth of shabu.
At least 21 other drug suspects were also arrested in separate anti-narcotics operations in the province.
